Before you head out to BCT, here are the key things to know:

• BCT requires a membership to ride. Check out that info here
• Helmets are REQUIRED! NO HELMET, NO RIDE
• This is West Texas. Prepare for sun, heat and wind in the summer and possibly frigid weather in the winter. There are no services available at the trailhead so bring everything you need with you.
• There are plenty of opportunties to test your equipment and flat kit inventory. Ride prepared.
• The trails will be closed and the gate double locked when deemed unridable. Trail Status is live updated on this page. You can also check the Biketown Abilene Facebook for recent trail condition posts.
• Lock the gate after entering/leaving the property
